The GE IS200VCRCH1B is the core dry contact input/relay output board of the Mark VI Speedtronic gas/steam turbine control system. Designed for high-reliability industrial control scenarios, it acquires external switching signals and drives actuators, serving as a critical I/O interface for turbine control, ESD, and valve/pump control.
Core Positioning and Functions
As the standard VME bus I/O board for the Mark VI system, it achieves electrical isolation and signal conversion for external dry contact signal acquisition and relay control output.
Input Side: Receives 48 dry contact/passive switch signals (such as valve position, pressure switch, emergency stop button), which are then sent to the system after optocoupler isolation.
Output Side: Drives 24 relay outputs for controlling actuators such as solenoid valves, contactors, indicator lights, and alarm circuits.
It features channel-level electrical isolation (1500 V DC), fault diagnosis, and SOE (Sequence of Events) capabilities, meeting SIL-level safety requirements.
