This board is the core discrete I/O module of the Mark VI control system, specifically designed for condition monitoring and safety control of rotating machinery such as gas turbines and steam turbines. It is responsible for acquiring field dry contact signals and driving external relay actuators to realize unit start-up and shutdown, protection interlocking, and process control.

48 Discrete Inputs: Acquires 48 dry contact/wet contact signals (24V DC), which are then optically isolated before being sent to the system. Supports millisecond-level SOE (Sequence of Events) recording for critical condition monitoring.

24-Channel Relay Output: Drives 24 independent relays, with contact capacity supporting 250V AC/30V DC. Single-channel rated current is 0.5–1A, with some channels reaching 2A. Used to control solenoid valves, circuit breakers, alarm lights, and other actuators.

High-Speed Scanning and Isolation: Input signals are sampled at 1ms high speed. Electrical isolation between input/output channels (≥2500V AC) suppresses electromagnetic interference in industrial environments.

VME Bus Communication: Enables high-speed communication with the Mark VI master controller (VCCC) via the VME backplane, facilitating real-time data exchange and control command issuance.

Fault Diagnosis and Protection: Built-in overcurrent and short-circuit protection; supports channel status diagnosis for quick fault location.
