The Kollmorgen Seidel 60WKS-M240/22-PO is a retired drive from the 60WKS Analog Servo Amplifier Series. It's a highly versatile servo amplifier model designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen. This model is one of the servo amps in the 60WKS series, which is exclusively designed to work with brushless synchronous motors in the SM series, also by Kollmorgen.

The 60WKS-M240/22-PO uses LEDs to pass certain information on the state of the machine. Conditions such as overvoltage, under-voltage, over-current, and thermal overload can be detected by its monitoring system and indicated by the LEDs. It also uses PI controllers to control the speed and current of the motor.

At the connection terminals of the motor, the 60WKS-M240/22-PO offers protection against short circuit and earth fault. Monitoring the temperature of the motor can also prevent damage due to excess temperature within the system. Its Ingress Protection (IP) rating is IP 00.

According to EN60204 / EN50178, this unit is designed for use in a pollution level 2 environment, where there is non-conductive pollution and occasional temporary condensation. It is recommended that it is operated in a closed switchgear cabinet where the ambient temperature is maintained within a range of 0° C to 40° C.
