ABB SPHSS13 Hydraulic Servo Module

The module supports redundant servo drive outputs and redundant position feedback inputs, compatible with both AC and DC LVDT displacement sensors. It integrates built-in P and PI control algorithms to realise precise position regulation for hydraulic actuators. Automatic calibration function is available to simplify commissioning onsite. The unit features comprehensive onboard diagnostics including LVDT wire break detection, output short-circuit and overload monitoring to enhance system availability.

It operates on 24VDC power supply and adopts standard Harmony rack plug-in structure. Designed for continuous critical power plant operation under wide temperature range, it delivers fast dynamic response and high positioning accuracy. This component is classified as legacy product, no longer produced by ABB. Current market supplies mainly consist of new surplus stock, used dismantled units and refurbished spare modules. Proper parameter configuration and loop calibration are mandatory after replacement before putting into service.
