VIBRO - METER 200 - 560 - 000 - 114 IOC4T input/output card is a signal interfac
VIBRO - METER 200 - 560 - 000 - 114 IOC4T input/output card is a signal interface card for the MPC4 mechanical protection card in the VM600 series. Here is a detailed introduction:
Installation and connection: Installed at the rear of the VM600 rack, directly connected to the rack backplane through two connectors. Each IOC4T card is associated with the corresponding MPC4 card, directly installed behind the MPC4 card in the VM600 rack (ABE04x or ABE056), operates in slave mode, and communicates with the MPC4 using the Industrial Packet (IP) interface through connector P2.
Terminals and signal transmission: The front panel contains terminal strip connectors for connecting transmission cables from the measurement chain (sensors and/or signal conditioners), and is also used to input all signals from any external control system and output all signals to any external control system, with a total of 48 terminals.
Channel Configuration: With 4 dynamic signal input channels and 2 tachometer input channels, differential signal input is supported, and all channels can be configured independently to meet the measurement needs of various machinery protection applications.
Signal Processing and Output: The raw dynamic (vibration) and speed signals from the sensor are connected to the MPC4, and the signals are processed and transmitted back to the IOC4T and provided on the terminal strip on its front panel. The four onboard digital-to-analog converters (DACs) on the card provide calibrated signal outputs in the range of 0 to 10V for dynamic signals, and the four onboard voltage-to-current converters provide current output signals in the range of 4 to 20mA (jumper selectable).
Relay and Alarm Function: Contains four local relays that can be used under software control for any specific alarm signal, such as MPC4 fault signals or problem signals detected by common alarms (sensor normal, alarm and danger). In addition, 32 digital signals representing alarms are transmitted to the rack backplane and can be used by optional RLC16 relay cards and/or IRC4 intelligent relay cards (jumper selectable) installed on the rack.
Protection function: Protects all inputs and outputs from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and signal surges, in compliance with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards.
Other features: Supports real-time card insertion and removal (hot swap) functions, which facilitates card replacement or maintenance while the system is running. It also has alarm reset (AR), dangerous bypass (DB) and trip multiplication (TM) control inputs, which can achieve different functions by closing the contacts between the corresponding inputs.
