1. Product Overview

The Vibro-meter MPC4 series is Emerson's core module for rotating machinery condition monitoring and protection, suitable for key equipment such as turbines, compressors, motors, and fans. Model 200-510-070-113 belongs to the multi-channel monitoring card in this series, which is mainly used for real-time collection of parameters such as vibration, displacement, and speed, and provides fault alarm, trip protection, and data communication functions to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.

1. Multi-parameter monitoring capability

Vibration monitoring:

Supports shaft vibration (eddy current sensor) and shell vibration (acceleration/velocity sensor) measurement;

Can output vibration displacement (peak-to-peak value), velocity (effective value), acceleration (peak value) and other parameters.

Shaft displacement/expansion difference monitoring:

Monitor the axial position, radial offset, or equipment expansion difference of the shaft through eddy current sensors with an accuracy of micron level.

Speed/zero speed monitoring:

Compatible with magnetoresistive and photoelectric speed sensors, supporting speed measurement, zero speed detection, and key phase signal acquisition.

2. Built-in signal processing and protection logic

Dynamic data acquisition:

Provides raw vibration waveform output (such as BNC interface), supports connection to oscilloscope or spectrum analyzer for fault diagnosis (such as imbalance, misalignment analysis).

Independent protection function:

Each channel can independently set the alarm threshold (2 levels) and trip threshold (1 level), built-in hardware redundancy and anti-false trigger logic to ensure the reliability of shutdown protection.

Spectrum analysis:

Supports real-time FFT spectrum calculation (such as 1024-point resolution), and can output vibration spectrum data for host computer analysis.

3. Communication and integration capabilities

Standard interface:

RS-485 (Modbus RTU) or Ethernet (Modbus TCP, Profinet, etc., depending on model configuration), used to communicate with DCS, PLC or Emerson AMS monitoring system.

Data transmission:

Real-time upload of monitoring data (such as vibration amplitude, spectrum, equipment status), supports remote configuration and parameter modification.
