GE IS215VPROH2BC is a turbine emergency trip board manufactured by General Elect
Core functions:
Emergency overspeed protection: Real-time monitoring of turbine speed. When the speed exceeds the preset safety limit, the emergency shutdown is quickly triggered to prevent equipment damage or safety accidents caused by overspeed.
Trip control: Works with TREG and TRPG terminal boards to manage up to 12 relays and operate three trip solenoid valves through voting inputs to achieve emergency tripping of the turbine.
Speed monitoring and control: Six passive magnetic speed sensors are used to monitor turbine speed, and precise speed control and overspeed protection are achieved through control logic and algorithms.
Temperature monitoring: With thermocouples and analog inputs, it can be used to monitor key parameters such as gas turbine exhaust temperature to ensure that the turbine operates within the normal temperature range.
Performance characteristics:
Redundant design: It consists of three redundant VPRO boards. Even if one of the boards fails, the other boards can continue to provide protection, which improves the reliability and safety of the system.
Communication capability: It has Ethernet connection, supports communication with IONET and control modules, can transmit data and receive instructions with other system components, and enhances the integration and coordination of the entire control system.
