I. Basic Product Information
The B&R PP300 series embedded integrated HMI from Austria, model 4PP320.0571-35, integrates an X86 main controller, display, touch screen, and communication interface. It comes with its own Automation Runtime environment, allowing for both screen operation and small PLC control. This model is gradually being discontinued by the manufacturer and is available as an industrial spare part. It is primarily designed for complete equipment integration, production lines, packaging machinery, and rubber and plastics equipment applications.

Display Specifications: 5.7-inch TFT color LCD, QVGA resolution 320×240, 262K colors, CCFL backlight; equipped with a four-wire analog resistive touchscreen, industrial wear-resistant touch structure, no physical buttons on the panel; front panel protection rating IP65/NEMA4X, suitable for dusty and water-splashed workshop environments. The screen has a typical brightness of 350 cd/m², and a viewing angle of 70° horizontally and 55° vertically.
III. Main Control and Storage Configuration
The processor is an AMD Geode LX800 32-bit x86 architecture CPU with a clock speed of 500MHz. The entire unit features a fanless passive cooling design. It has 128MB of DDR SDRAM and 2MB of onboard system flash memory. The chassis is equipped with a Type I CompactFlash card slot for expanding the storage capacity of project programs and recipes. It has a built-in hardware RTC real-time clock and a backup battery to maintain the clock even when power is off.
IV. Hardware Interface Configuration
The rear panel interfaces include: 1 RJ45 100Mbps Ethernet port, 1 DB9 RS232 serial port, and 2 USB 2.0 host ports. It does not have built-in CAN or X2X bus interfaces; bus expansion requires an external adapter. The power supply terminal requires an optional OTB103.9 terminal block.
