Functional Overview

It is a key component in the excitation control system. Its main function is to directly regulate the silicon-controlled rectifiers (SCRs) that are critical in the excitation process of synchronous generators.

Hardware Specifications

A row of LEDs along the edge of the front panel provides a visual display of current in the bridge, output firing, bridge temperature, cooling fan rotation, and alarm or fault conditions.
