Working principle
Eddy current effect: The probe contains a high-frequency oscillator and an induction coil. When the probe is close to a metal conductor (such as the shaft of a rotating machine), the alternating magnetic field generated by the high-frequency oscillator will generate eddy currents on the surface of the metal conductor, and the eddy currents will generate a magnetic field in the opposite direction of the original magnetic field, thereby changing the inductance of the induction coil. By measuring the change in inductance, the distance between the probe and the metal conductor can be calculated, and then the displacement, vibration and other parameters of the shaft can be obtained.
Signal processing and transmission: The probe converts the measured inductance change signal into a voltage or current signal and transmits it to the monitoring system through a cable.
