Overview
The 3500/40M is a four-channel monitor, mainly used to receive input signals from Bently Nevada proximity sensors, conditioning the signals to provide various vibration and position measurement values, and comparing the conditioned signals with user-programmable alarm values.
Function
Measurement functions: Each channel can be programmed through the 3500 rack configuration software to achieve multiple functions, including radial vibration measurement, eccentricity measurement, rotor axial position and velocity measurement (REBAM), thrust position measurement, and differential expansion measurement, etc.
Signal processing: After the input signal is conditioned, various parameters known as static values will be generated. For each active static value, alarm set points can be configured, including warning set points and danger set points, to precisely monitor key parameters.
Alarm logic: Equipped with complex alarm logic, it can be programmed using 3500 rack configuration software.
